Hi,
welcome on my website. My name is Thomas Züllich. I am a German living in Oslo, Norway. My passion is flyfishing and specifically tying flies for freshwater species like trout, grayling and char.
My flytying is based on old traditions as well as very modern and innovative methods of creating flies. The main focus lies in the practical usability of the flies as well as their durability. I strongly believe flies should catch many fish before they break and still be fast and easy to tie.
I must admit that throughout all my work you can see German craftsmanship tradition shining through. However, don't be afraid - even though I am German, I do occasionally laugh ;-) and can take a joke.
You can book me for flytying classes as well as flyfishing courses. I do regularly speak and demonstrate at fly fishing fairs and have a good selection of educational material on hand. The courses can be held in English, German and Norwegian.
